KAJI sees the PACK LEADER, PETER and a Gang MEMBER#1 leaving home with baggage.
KAJI (V.O.): Oh dear, where are they going?
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whenever I see them leaving with baggage, I know they won't return anytime soon.
Kaji sees the MAID closing the main door.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just the two of us at home.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't know how many lonely days and nights ahead.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): How can I live without them?
Act 2
INT. LIVING ROOM - 10:00 (Days thereafter)
Lying on a sofa, Kaji looks restless.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm very hungry.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When he's home, I'd have breakfast with Peter before my day meal.
Seeing the maid preparing her meal, Kaji looks excited.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's meal time now!
We hear voices from afar.
PACK LEADER: I miss you!
PETER: Me too!
Kaji's ears perk up.
KAJI (V.O.): I hear the Pack Leader and Peter talking to me, but I can't see them. Strange!
Trying to locate the sources of the voices, Kaji focuses on a small device on a table.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Are the Pack Leader and Peter inside? I can't smell their scents.
Kaji looks confused.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): How can I communicate with them?
INT. LIVING ROOM - 22:00
While the maid is preparing meal for Kaji, we hear voices from afar.
GANG MEMBER#1: You've been sleeping all the time...
KAJI (V.O.): What can I do?
GANG MEMBER#2: Poor babe, you look unhappy.
KAJI (V.O.): Apart from my meals, I don't have any treats.
Finishing her meal, Kaji rests on the sofa.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When the Pack Leader and Peter are home, I'd go to bed first to warm it for them.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I'm waiting in the living room. I can't wait to greet them home.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Only when they are home would there be a chance of going out for a walk together.
INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY (Another day)
While we hear voices talking to each other, Kaji looks unbothered.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm wondering whether the voices from afar are my hallucinations?
Gang MEMBER#1: Why is the maid dressing differently today?
Gang MEMBER#2: Oh, she's on leave. Our darling will be home alone today!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Being alone isn't good, being lonely is the worst!
Wondering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When will I see them again?
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY (Three days ago)
Kaji is sitting between the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): Days ago, just the Pack Leader and Peter returned.
Then, we hear voices from afar and see images on screen.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't understand why the Pack Leader and the Gang would gather like this. Anyhow, I develop my resilience.
Kaji takes a look of the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I must say the sensory-rich experience is much better than just voices from afar.
