FADE IN
Act 1
INT. BEDROOM - DAY
Wind and rain are raging outside. KAJI, curling up tightly against the PACK LEADER and PETER in bed, is trembling.
KAJI (V.O.): I can't control myself.
Sensing it, Peter looks worried.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, Peter notices I need help.
Peter reaches out to Kaji and pets her gently.
PETER: It's okay. I'm here.
We hear the wind howling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I'm shaking all over.
Peter wraps his arms around Kaji, calming her.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I like it.
Act 2
INT. LIVING ROOM - LATER
Reaching into a cupboard, the Pack Leader selects a sizable meaty bone. Kaji looks on.
KAJI (V.O.): That's magnificent!
PACK LEADER: Weathering fear, you've to be distracted from the inclement weather.
We see Kaji sniffing the aroma.
KAJI (V.O.): Wow, it promises a very satisfying chew!
Peter looks on smilingly.
PETER: Good for you!
PACK LEADER (to Kaji): But you must earn the big treat!
The Pack Leader raises the bone slightly above Kaji's head.
KAJI (V.O.): I've to beg, right?
Immediately and charmingly, Kaji stands with her hind legs and extends her front paws forward. Her anticipating eyes remain fixed on the bone.
PACK LEADER: That's it. Good girl!
Carefully, the Pack Leader places the bone into Kaji's waiting mouth.
KAJI (V.O.): Yes! It's mine!
The Pack Leader and Peter watch Kaji settling down in a sofa corner to enjoy her chews.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I didn't expect the windfall.
PETER: It should be a delicious shield for awhile.
Having finished her treat, Kaji sees Peter talking to the Pack Leader.
KAJI (V.O.): Are we going out?
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday afternoon, I saw Peter going out with the family turtle.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I thought my turn would come soon, but we didn't go out.
