Act 1
INT. HOME - AFTERNOON
KAJI is dozing off.
FLASHBACK
INT. PET GARDEN - EVENING (Yesterday)
Entering Kaji, the PACK LEADER and PETER.
KAJI (V.O.): Let me first obey the calls of nature.
Having done her routine, the Pack Leader uplifts Kaji on a bench.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I sense that something isn't right.
Smilingly, the Pack Leader puts on a fake reindeer fur for Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel so uncomfortable. I don't need the fake fur.
Act 2
INT. SOMEONE'S HOME - NIGHT (Yesterday)
Wearing the fake reindeer fur, Kaji is checking the place.
KAJI (V.O.): They're having a party, but I'm the only pet here.
After a photo session, the Pack Leader undresses Kaji's fake reindeer fur.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can make your life whole without that.
After doing her wet-dog shakes, Kaji sees food being put on the table.
PETER: Can she have some?
PACK LEADER: No!
KAJI (V.O.): That isn't kind.
Watching STRANGERS eating, Kaji sees Peter moving to a short stool by a sofa, playing with a BOY and a GIRL.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's a cue. Peter's smart, me too.
Kaji then focuses on Peter's interaction with the boy and the girl.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ah, I see Peter hiding something in his closed palm.
As Kaji gets closer to him, Peter opens his palm.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I see food.
Kaji grabs it with her tongue.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's something I've never had before.
Tasting.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's delicious. I wouldn't bother.
Playing with the boy and the girl, Kaji is further rewarded by Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love having more.
But then, Kaji notices that the strangers are focusing on them.
PACK LEADER: Don't give her anything to eat. She may vomit.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't feel any discomfort with the new food at all.
RETURN TO PRESENT
Act 3
INT. HOME - NIGHT
Kaji looks out of the window.
KAJI (V.O.): I feel the gloomy weather. We won't go out.
Having set up an Skype meeting, the Pack Leader helps Kaji put on the fake reindeer fur again. We hear laughter from the computer screen.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like to take fakes. I just want to be myself.
Later, the undressed Kaji joins Peter on a sofa, leaning on him.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Am I warm enough? Am I worthy enough?
Peter pets Kaji's fur.
