Checking a family chatgroup message, PETER sees an image of a silver Honda Jazz.
PETER (V.O.): It's my elder daughter's rental car in Okinawa.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Years ago, my wife and I drove in Okinawa. Before the pandemic, I've also driven in Oshigaki and Miyako.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She got her driving licence last year and hasn't driven much. I can imagine her motoring fun.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When she comes back to Hong Kong, she can drive my cars...
Act 2
INT. STUDIO - 14:00
Peter is watching a Beatles story on TV.
PETER (V.O.): Sir George Martin, the "5th Beatle", standing in line to buy a ticket to watch a Beatles tribute band playing in London?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): John Lennon died in 1980 and George Harrison in 2001.
Watching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): He was imagining those pretending to be the Beatles were the real ones.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In 1969, I began working part-time. I bought a turntable and the Beatles' Abbey Road album.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The songs I listened the most were "Come Together" and "Octopus's Garden".
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When the Beatles broke up in 1970, I was upset.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If a relationship didn't work, there's no point to maintain it.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whenever I visit London, I won't mind going to Abbey Road, watching fans crossing it and taking photos of their acts.
FLASHBACK
EXT. ABBEY ROAD - DAY (Nov 2022)
His WIFE and their younger DAUGHTER at passenger seats, Peter drives along the road.
WIFE: Be careful. Fans are taking photos at the zebra crossing ahead.
Peter stops the car not too close to the zebra crossing until he sees traffic coming from behind.
PETER: When you do that, be careful. Other drivers might not like this.
Turning into an adjacent road, Peter lets his wife and the photographer daughter alight.
PETER (Cont'd): I can't wait for too long here.
Later, when they return, Peter sees his wife carrying a bag.
WIFE: I've bought some Beatles souvenirs too!
PETER: I don't know you're also a fan of the Beatles!
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was only in my late 50s that I began writing songs.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While I've big room for improvement, all my songs aren't studio productions and can be performed by anyone live.
Grabbing his smartphone, Peter taps an AI app.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me create a cartoon to illustrate what I'm imagining now.
Peter inputs some details in a box on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Only Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive today.
Peter taps "Create".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The Beatles were historical. I also wish to contribute my part to make popular music an art form.
Act 3
INT. STUDIO - CONTINUOUS
Checking the cartoon drawings generated, Peter selects one.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Among the characters, I was the youngest and am still the youngest.
Staring at the last character crossing the road.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I can imagine it, I may be able to achieve it. Last but not least.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Actually, there's nothing I can do that can't be done.
