  5. Morning light streaming through the window. PETER opens his eyes, smiling.


  6. PETER (V.O.): I feel refreshed. I've slept pretty well.


  7. Pausing.


  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Last night at dinner, I couldn't resist the temptation to indulge in the restaurant's exquisite coffee.


  9. Pausing.


  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I worried that the coffee I'd enjoyed would keep me tossing and turning in bed.


  11. Pausing.


  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I wasn't sleepy after midnight...but soon I fell asleep.


  13. Pausing.


  14. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How unfounded my worries had been. Let me embrace a new day.

  17. INT. HKUST CAMPUS - 11:45

  19. Exiting from a conference room, Peter looks satisfied.


  20. PETER (V.O.): I've contributed. It feels good to share what I know so that things can be done better.


  21. Peter waves goodbye to his COLLEAGUES.


  22. EXT. SILVERSTRAND BAY - 12:15


  23. Picturesque. Peter scans the beach and the swimming area.


  24. PETER (V.O.): No red flag; but the water may still be chilly.


  25. Pausing.


  26. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I've brought my wet suit with me, I won't wear it and see if I can cope.


  27. Entering the beach water, Peter swims with joy,


  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In a swimming pool, I feel confined. Here, I feel free,


  29. INT. SAIZERIYA - 13:30


  30. Japanese chain restaurant. Sitting at a cosy table, Peter is having Grilled Escargots and Meat Doria with a Soft-boiled Egg.

  32. PETER (V.O.): They're delicious - a way to reward myself for the little things that I've done so far.


  33. EXT. DOG PARK - 15:45


  34. Roadside. Peter is waiting in the driver seat of a Previa.


  35. PETER (V.O.): My wife and our younger daughter have just taken our family pet inside.


  36. Peter takes a look of his smartphone.


  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I managed to complete my daily quests on Duolingo before coming here.


  38. Pausing.


  39. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Next, we'll take the pet to her Vet for a vaccination. And after that, we'll go shopping in malls, and then we can enjoy dinner at a nice place.


  40. INT. THE TWINS, KAI TAK - 17:30


  41. Modern. As their younger DAUGHTER is shopping some clothes, Peter and his WIFE wait.


  42. PETER (V.O.): She's having her term break holidays. In January this year, my wife and I drove from Akita to Niigata to see her.


  43. Recalling.


  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While in Niigata, she took us to her favourite malls. She waited while we were shopping.

  46. INT. MALL 1, KAI TAK - 18:30


  47. Doraemon store. Peter's wife is contemplating which Doraemon items to purchase.


  48. PETER (V.O.): She's a Doraemon fan.


  49. Then, Peter spots a Doraemon carrier bag featuring the Anywhere Door design.


  50. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It appeals to my eyes. I'll buy it. I wish I could have access to Doraemon's Anywhere Door.


  51. INT. AIRSIDE, KAI TAK -19:30


  52. Exiting from a Kowloon Walled City exhibition with his wife and daughter, Peter notices a traditional bowl and spoon set nearby.


  53. PETER: When I was a kid, I used similar bowl and spoon set. It'd be nice for my nightly sweet potato soup.


  54. WIFE: If you want to buy a set, feel free to go ahead.


  55. PETER (V.O.): I vividly remember the times when my Dad would cook sweet potato soup for both of us after work.

  58. INT. BEDROOM - 22:00

  60. Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "'Life's Little Things..." to a draft on his laptop.

  62. PETER (V.O): Life's little things often leave



     the biggest impressions in my heart.

  65. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd):  I cherish life's little things, as I know that someday I'll see they were the biggest joy of all.
