Coming out from a nearby swimming pool, PETER walks towards the harbour front.
PETER (V.O.): Quite a nice place.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For the past couple of days, life was hectic. It disrupted my calm and peaceful routine. I couldn't slow down.
MONTAGE OF PETER'S ACTIVITIES TODAY
A 09:00. Car-testing centre. Peter deposits his silver coupe and waits.
B. 11:00. Study. Dozens of letters beside him, Peter opens them.
C. 13:00. Via Zoom, Peter participates in a seminar on dispute settlement in Metaverse.
D. 15:30. Hong Kong Bar Association, Queensway. Peter deposits a form and a cheque.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And then I went swimming in the Sun Yat Sen Public Swimming Pool.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's a heated big pool. Kings and Queens in the old days didn't have that.

INT. KENSINGTON PALACE - NIGHT (Nov 11, 2022)
Peter, his WIFE, their younger DAUGHTER and a NIECE are visiting rooms.
PETER (V.O.): Our first time here.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I was studying in London 1986-1987, Sharon and I visited many British castles.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This time, we meant to visit the Leeds Castle, but the Palace here is convenient to all.
Sight-seeing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's interesting to know that Queen Anne, with the first copyright law under her name, lived here.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Otherwise, the Palace is mostly about Queen Victoria.
From a window, Peter sees the Kensington Gardens.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I prefer seeing living gardens than historic rooms.

Peter watches the ships in the harbour.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Originally, the harbour was called the "Fragrant Harbour" or "Hong Kong". It was renamed as "Victoria Harbour" when Hong Kong was colonized.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Queen Victoria never visited this harbour. Was it a consolation to have it named after her?
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This morning when I checked my bank accounts before writing a cheque, I was surprised to find a lot of money in one account.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I noticed that today is already Nov 30 and I got my monthly pension.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As usual, I'd transfer half of that to my wife's bank account.
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I was before an ATM, I got lost when I couldn't recall her bank account number!
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On stock investment, I haven't bothered with the price fluctuations after the completion of my experiment.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday night, I inadvertently tapped on the Yahoo! Finance App and saw the Day's Gain, I was shocked.
Peter taps the Yahoo! Finance App and sees the Day's Gain.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's no way I can earn that sort of money in a day!
Act 3
EXT. SUN YAT SEN MEMORIAL PARK - CONTINUOUS
Seeing incoming WhatsApp messages on his phone, Peter checks them, and we see beautiful images of Seoul National University.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My elder daughter will begin her Korean language study there. That's what I care about.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Between action and reflection, I need to create the right balance.
Reflecting
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): With so many distractions, it's easy to forget to pause and take stock.
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And in me, there're many queens.
