  1. FADE IN.

  2. Act 1

  4. Waking up, PETER checks the time.

  5. PETER (V.O.): After 10am already?

  6. Peter takes a look of the dark curtain.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's new.

  8. KAJI, the family pet, comes over to lick Peter's nose and lips.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): You didn't wake me up two hours earlier. You let me sleep a little longer?

  10. Peter's WIFE is still sleeping.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): These things happen - only during the Chinese New Year.

  12. Pausing.

  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Changing my mind, we'll visit my Mom at her home later.

  14. Act 2

  15. INT. SITTING ROOM - 11:30

  16. Peter is having screen time.

  17. PETER (V.O.): Today, I've two answer requests concerning the return of Pluto on Feb 22, 2022. A coincidence?

  18. Pausing.

  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I didn't pay any attention to Feb 2, 2022 until a Quoran asked me if I knew it'd be a day with the most numerals 2 for over 2000 years.

  20. Pausing.

  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then I found out that Feb 2, 2022 would also be the 2nd day of the Chinese New Year.

  22. Pausing.

  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Something the Quoran probably wouldn't know.

  24. Recalling.

  25. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What happened next was that my elder daughter thought the date should be Feb 22, 2022. It'd also be the 22nd day of the lunar January - two more 2s.

  26. Pausing.

  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To us, such a coincidence is meaningless. It can't be a cue about a particular facet of our lives that requires attention.

  28. Thinking.

  29. PETER (V.O.): What does it mean about Pluto's return?

  30. Researching.

  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Pluto's orbital period around the Sun is about 248 years.

  32. Reading.

  33. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's no indication that Pluto will orbit close to Earth, not to mention the specific date Feb 22, 2022.

  34. Pausing.

  35. PETER (Cont'd): How come people get such disinformation?

  36. Researching.

  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're blog posts talking bout this major event.

  38. Researching.

  39. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The authors are persons practising astrology. They believe the movements of planets, sun, moon and stars can have an influence on people's lives.

  40. Recalling.

  41. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hate to see on media persons practising astrology talking about assertions as facts, especially around Chinese New Year.

  42. Peter types his replies.

  43. SEQUENCE OF OF PETER'S VISIT TO HIS MOM'S HOME

  44. A. Sitting room. 15:30. Peter and his WIFE enter as Peter's SISTER is about to leave.

  46. C. Roadside. 16:15. Peter puts the fully-packed red bag inside a car before driving off.

  47. END SEQUENCE

  48. EXT. PET GARDEN - 17:30

  49. Peter and his wife are walking Kaji - the dog.

  50. PETER (V.O.): Married women only visit their parent's home on the 2nd day of the Chinese New Year for fear of bringing bad luck upon their families.

  51. Thinking.

  52. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The traditional custom isn't evidence-based. And I did meet up with my sister in our Mom's home earlier.

  53. Act 3

  54. INT. BEDROOM - 23:00

  55. Peter is checking Quora answer requests

  56. PETER (V.O.): Here's an answer request that I can't wait to reply.

  57. We see on screen: What message do you want to pass on to your fellow human beings around the world today?

  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't think the universe has been sending little message to us. causing coincidence and reminding us to believe in something.

  59. We see Peter typing his answer on screen: Don't be superstitious.

  60. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is it a mere co-incidence I've got this answer request?

  61. FADE OUT

  62. THE END
