PETER (V.O.): A month ago today, my wife, our younger daughter and I began our 11-day, 9-night tour to England,
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As I wanted to document our activities and the events that happened to us, I wrote my reviews with featured photos in Google Maps timely.
Peter types his answers on Quora.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I neither wrote any daily screenplays nor responded to any Quora answer requests.
Repeats.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Upon our safe return, we re-adapted to the Hong Kong time. And I resumed my voluntary work at HKUST.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Soon, I had to prepare for my court cases and appear in court. After that, it was BIP Asia 2022...

FLASHBACK
INT. HONG KONG CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE - DAY (Dec 1, 2022)
Peter is chatting with JANET, a former colleague.
JANET: Jenny has emigrated to UK.
Peter nods.
PETER (V.O.): As the Dept's Marketing Head, Jenny gave me great support.

INT. RESIDENCE, CANARY WHARF - NIGHT (Nov 10, 2022)
Peter, his WIFE, their younger DAUGHTER and their NIECE are chatting over dinner.
NIECE: Since our moving here last year, our lifestyle has completely changed. We always eat at home.
WIFE: Just then at Waitrose, I found that foodstuff weren't expensive.
PETER: And I spotted an inexpensive box of herring caviar. We don't have that in Hong Kong.
NIECE: My husband and I will soon move to another residence closer to my work place, although we won't have the Canary Wharf view anymore.
END FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK
INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT (Dec 1, 2022)
Peter is chatting with his wife and young daughter over dinner.
PETER: St Ives is said to be the no.1 place to live in UK in 2022. We visited Tate St Ives and other boutique art galleries. We ate in St Ives' best restaurants.
His wife and their younger daughter don't respond enthusiastically.
PETER (V.O.): St Ives is 5 1/2 hours' drive from London. Its beaches are irrelevant to them and I don't fancy surfing either.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Our friend Malcolm's residence in Welford-on-Avon is 2 1/2 hour's drive from London. We find it too quiet.
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Malcolm told me that he was writing new editions of his works and found it difficult to be on top of Hong Kong developments from afar.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): From 1986-1987, I was living in Camden Town. I always feel that one year's residence there was more than enough.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Touring a country is very different from living there. Our elder daughter had lots of comments about living in Japan.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday night, a friend with Canadian connections asked me about my project on IP Trading. We talked about it before the pandemic.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having attended BIP Asia 2022, I was pleased to learn that the concept was still talked about by the very top and those at the execution level.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's developments aren't as quick as I wished is because the industries and universities don't want to take the risks.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): All they want are the benefits, and Govt should take the risks. Would Govt move with the times to solve the right problem?
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 20:00
Peter finishes his typing on Quora.
PETER (V.O.): I like to be kept abreast of current developments in the business of IP so that I can analyze and re-strategize.
Peter begins to work on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On IP trading, the elements of the ecosystem are there. Risks and benefits should be shared. When opportunity arises, I'll lead from behind.
Peter creates a draft screenplay.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What is lacking are good intangible assets especially in the ArtTech context. My project has become a creative and do-it-myself one.
Peter inserts a feature photo, depicting the blue ocean from a window to his screenplay before posting it.
