Act 1
Mobile in hand, PETER hears his WIFE talking to him.
WIFE: I've just sent you my draft for your comment.
Nodding, Peter reads a lengthy draft on screen.
PETER: I've read it. It's good. But you need to give better particulars on an issue...
WIFE: I've thought about that issue...
PETER: I'm too tired to perfect the draft now...
WIFE: It can wait...
PETER: Good.
Rubbing his eyes, Peter goes to the bedroom.
Act 2
INT. DINING ROOM - 08:15
Having breakfast with KAJI, the family pet, Peter practises Korean via the Duolingo App.
PETER (V.O.): The online exercises are too simple.
Practising.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I'm falling behind in my weekly evening classes on Korean at SPACE, HKU.
INT. STUDY - 08:30
Opening a textbook on Korean and listening to Korean from HKUSPACESOUL, Peter recites some words and phrases in Korean.
PETER (V.O): I've to satisfy myself reasonably before recording my oral assignments.
Practising.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I aim to submit them to the teacher before my 10:30 meeting.
Practising.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Let me do it one by one.
Later, we see Peter recording his oral assignments and sending them.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Done!, I can now focus on the meeting.
At 10:20, Peter joins a meeting via Zoom.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I can't attend in person at Clearwater Bay as I've a 12:30 lunch appointment in TST.
We see and hear Peter asking for the floor and making a substantive intervention.
INT. LIVING ROOM - 11:30
Appearing, Peter sees his wife researching with her laptop.
WIFE (to Peter): I'm exploring if there're alternative parking facilities at Airport Terminal One.
Peter then sees their elder DAUGHTER with her baggage.
PETER: I've to go now. Mom will drive you to the Airport. Take good care of yourself!
DAUGHTER: Yes, see you in November in Seoul and Busan.
Peter leaves first.
PETER (V.O): In order to engage with old friends, I attended only part of the meeting via Zoom and would miss seeing my daughter off at the Airport.
INT. THE STARVIEW, THE ONE - 12:20
Appearing, Peter observes the stylish restaurant.
PETER (V.O): I came here once, attending a wedding banquet during Covid...
Having greeted old FRIENDS#1-3, Peter greets FRIENDS#4-9 as they join.
FRIENDS: Wonderful, 10 of us who went to Tsinghua U in 1996 are here. Are we all good?
PETER: Those can make it here can't be bad.
FRIENDS: Yes, we can still move about.
Catching up, they chat and chat.
EXT. BUS - 16:00
Sitting in the upper deck, Peter is in thoughts.
PETER (V.O): I'd better cook up the theme of my daily creative screenplay now... My wife and I have to attend a 3-hour Korean class from 18:45 tonight.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): And tomorrow morning, I've to deliver a speech for an occasion...
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 17:45
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "My Schedule ..." to a draft.
PETER (V.O): Schedules are meant to help, not hinder.
We hear Peter's wife practising Korean seriously.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I juggle aspects of my daily routines that impact on my life targets, creating my schedule with my lifestyle in mind.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I'm resilient, I treasure relationships, and I do it my way.
