INT. MALL RESTAURANT - 14:30
Soon after PETER has done his order, a WAITRESS puts a cup of Chrysanthemum with Honey on his table.
PETER (V.O.): This drink has become my favourite recently.
Putting down his cap on the table, Peter has a thought.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I should capture a photo of it. I know if I lose it, I'd miss it a lot.
Recalling.
.PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This morning, I've found a mouse cover and a mini speaker. I mislaid them for days and weeks.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They're hard to find although I was sure they're at home.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If they're lost elsewhere, they won't return.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. SAGANO, KYOTO - DAY (2012)
Waiting near a railway station, Peter and his WIFE are excited to watch the Sagano Romantic Train passing Sakura trees in bloom.
PETER: Here it comes!
WIFE: Yes, beautiful.
They capture photos and video clips. Soon, they board the Romantic Train at the station.
PETER: First time on this train, I don't know what to expect.
As the train runs across a river gorge, Peter and his wife are busy to capture the fantastic views of forests and mountains dotted with cherry blossoms.
WIFE: Very beautiful!
Later, they alight and then go inside a souvenir shop.
PETER: I want to buy a souvenir cap, evidencing I've been here.
Picking up a grey "SAGANO" cap, Peter sees a colourful bag.
PETER (Cont'd): I'll buy this colourful bag for my video cam.
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In 2015, while I was in Inner Mongolia, I lost the colourful bag while filming the desert landscape in a tourist train.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I discovered that soon. But as I was a member of a tour group, I didn't have time to retrace and find it.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I consoled myself that I'd buy another one the next time I took the Sagano Romantic Train.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But up to now, I haven't been back.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I don't even have a photo of the colourful bag.
Peter takes a look of the restaurant decoration.
FLASHBACK
INT. SAGANO RESTAURANT, GENEVA - DAY (2010)
Japanese style. Peter (56) and a LADY are having lunch.
PETER: I invite you to have lunch here for a change.
LADY: Do you know the proprietor of this Sagano restaurant also owes the nearby Phuket restaurant that we often go?
PETER: Smart! We're his good customers then.
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I drove past Geneva in summer 1987. From 1992 to 2013, I used to visit Geneva at least once a year.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): During my last visit, I knew I'd miss the place and the persons I worked with.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Last year, my wife and I had dinner at another Sagano restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh Sagano!
Act 3
INT. MALL RESTAURANT - CONTINUOUS
The waitress serves a bowl of rice noodles with prawn and fish dumplings.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I used to look for travel deals while eating alone. Since the pandemic, I've suspended my monthly-travelling hobby.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To enjoy life, travelling to explore new experience was and is my favourite.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I miss the places, things and the moments. Not sure when I'll have a new story on Sagano.
