FADE IN
Act 1
INT. SITTING ROOM - 21:00 (The night before)
PETER is talking to his wife.
PETER: Tomorrow will be the last holiday of the Easter break. Do you want to go anywhere?
PETER (V.O.): Days ago, we talked about visiting Cheung Chau.
WIFE: On good Friday, we spent the greater part of the day planning for our Sept trip to Osaka again.
Pausing.
WIFE (Cont'd): On Saturday, I spent time to have my hair cut.
PETER (V.O.): I was adapting myself to use my 5th smartphone.
WIFE (Cont'd): Today, our younger daughter and I have done facial.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've gone swimming and played the piano.
PETER: Let's decide when I wake up tomorrow.
Act 2
INT. SITTING ROOM - 09:00
Checking WhatsApp photos, Peter sees colourful and eye-catching images of Mt Fuji and Sakura blossoms.
PETER (V.O.): My elder son's postcard-like shots.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They evoke a sense of sentimentality. He and his girlfriend must be having a great time during the Easter break.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While the trip is costly, it has value for money.
Peter then taps "Contribute Now" on Google Maps.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me re-live my travelling moments by inserting the photos/videos and sharing my travel reviews.
INT. BEDROOM - 13:30
Reclining on the headboard, Peter is still contributing on Google Maps.
PETER (V.O.): My wife and I have been to many places in our recent 9-day trip to Japan.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Travelling can be very tiring. My wife and I enjoyed hot springs after midnight.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I slept earlier than my wife and I would enjoy the onsen again in the morning.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And each day, we drove long distances, making the most of our time to experience more. We ate sour sweets to keep us awake.
Peter sees his wife waking up.
PETER: Have you slept well?
His wife nods.
PETER (V.O.): She sleeps very little most of the time.
WIFE: I think we just walk our pet again today.
PETER: Okay. We'll be travelling to Macau in 5 days. Our pet has to stay home for many days after today.
EXT. PROMENADE - 16:30
Strolling along the promenade with KAJI, the pet, both Peter and his wife spot a public art on a highway column.
PETER (V.O.): We like to fly.
They capture photos of the art depicting a plane at an airport.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I bought my first car at the age of 22. But I first flew only at the age of 25.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I collected things, not experience.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Once I've tasted flight, I walk the Earth with my eyes turned skyward.
Resting on a bench, Peter reads the news on his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the restaurants in Hong Kong have seen a 15% slump in trade over the Easter holiday, when compared to just before the break.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Hongkongers would regret any holiday they didn't take.
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - 21:00
Checking the shared FB images he liked and loved, Peter is in thoughts.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A holiday is having no study or work to do.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My wife and I have studied and worked long enough. For us, switching on the rest mode on holiday is fine.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What is important is to fly above negativity.
