  1. FADE IN

  2. Act 1

  3. INT. STUDY - 09:30

  4. PETER is reading a rights issue of shares notification.

  5. PETER (V.O.): Recently, I've dealt with such corporate actions.

  6. Pausing.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The deadline date for subscription of this stock is today.

  8. Peter grabs his smartphone to check his bank accounts.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My pain point is that I may have a cashflow problem.

  10. Checking.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I still have sufficient funds to do this one. It's selling at $9.00 a share.

  12. Checking the stocks real-time trading price, Peter sees "$0.094".

  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG! If I didn't investigate and bought at $9.00, it will be my big pain point.

  14. Act 2

  15. FLASHBACK

  16. Peter sees "Memories" on phone screen. We see an image with the caption "Break Even".

  17. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In Sept, 2021, I began taking the risk to invest, but I didn't do any investigations.

  18. Pausing.

  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): At the beginning, I was doing well and so I invested more. Then the downturn...

  20. Pausing.

  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In Feb, 2022, I had a few days breaking-even on my investment. After that, I've been losing.

  22. Pausing.

  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Trying to lower my pain, I averaged down and soon I exhausted all my idle money in stocks.

  24. Pausing.

  25. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As the market now doesn't have any direction, I prefer to stay put.

  26. Pausing.

  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I feel pain in my cashflow problem.

  28. Recalling.

  29. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday night, having skyped with my children overseas, I dropped my iPhone Pro Max.

  30. Recalling.

  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's corner landed hard on one of my toes.

  32. Recalling.

  33. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although it's round-edged, I still felt like a hammer hammering hard on it.

  34. Peter rubs one of his toes with Ammeltz.

  35. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I thought about whether I preferred the physical pain than to accept damage to my smartphone.

  36. Thinking.

  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I could prevent the smartphone landing hard on the floor with my foot, I'd do it.

  38. Pausing.

  39. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The mockery is that I seem to care more about materialistic things than my physical well-being.

  40. Recalling.

  41. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Incidentally, I've been focusing on playing the piano.

  42. Pausing.

  43. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've stiff fingers.

  44. Pausing.

  45. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I should have picked up the skill a long time ago.

  46. Thinking.

  47. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As I'll be busy from afternoon onwards, I hope that I could swim in the morning.

  48. Pausing.

  49. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And then, it dawns on me that the clubhouse swimming pool is closed for cleansing on Monday mornings.
