Act 1
EXT. ROADS TOWARDS CHAI WAN - 09:15
Driving a blue Mercedes, PETER sees a green Beetle in the rear mirror.
PETER (V.O.): Ha, that's my wife. She's going to Central to work.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm going to a repairer in Shau Kei Wan to perfect the paint of the car.
Entering a cross-harbour tunnel.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can collect the car in the afternoon.I haven't decided where to go after depositing it.
Heading in the direction of Shau Kei Wan.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I haven't gone to the repairer for many years. It provides unique and efficient repainting service.
Later, Peter deposits the car with STAFF wearing "Dream Colour" sweaters.
Act 2
EXT. MTR CABIN - CHAI WAN MTR STATION - 10:00
Peter is glued to his smart phone. When the train stops, Peter looks up and sees "Chai Wan" signages.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, I meant to go to Wan Chai... I've taken the train going in the opposite direction.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I meant to go swimming. There should be other public swimming pools in Chai Wan.
Getting off the train, Peter surfs Google Maps with his smart phone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The Chai Wan swimming pool is about 20 minutes walk from here. It closes at noon.
EXT. CHAI WAN MTR STATION - CHAI WAN SWIMMING POOL - 10.20
Smart phone in hand, Peter walks with hesitation.
PETER (V.O.): Finding a place on the ground is very different from finding a place on the map.
Walking past roundabouts and streets.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never been here.
Later, Peter sees the signage "Chai Wan Swimming Pool".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's very quiet here.
Peter then reads a notice: Annual Maintenance...1.11.2022 - 31.3.2023...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the Google information was dated... But service is available in the Siu Sai Wan Swimming Pool.
Peter checks Google Maps.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I arrive there, I could only swim for less than an hour...
Peter sees a small park up a hill.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I may just have some special "me-time" up there now.
EXT. PARK - 10:45
Sitting in a bench, Peter sees a closed swimming pool down under.
PETER (V.O.): The turtles decor reminds me of my pet turtle, the late Nana.
Zooming in with his smart phone, Peter captures an image.
INT. MOMOKU, SIU SAI WAN MALL - 12:40
A Korean stone pot rice before him. Peter stares at two small cups of sauces near it.
PETER (V.O.): This is a preparatory meal. My wife and I will fly to Seoul this Friday to see our elder daughter.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We last met in person in Dec 2019. And I haven't been to South Korea since 2015.
Peter samples the sauces.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): One is too spicy for me. I've got to remember that.
INT. SIU SAI WAN SWIMMING POOL - 13: 20
Appearing, Peter looks around.
PETER (V.O.): This one can't be compared with the one in Wan Chai.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having just eaten, I'd only exercise moderately.
Later, resting by the pool wall, Peter sees SWIMMER#1 scolding SWIMMER#2 for blocking her way.
Act 3
EXT. ROADS TOWARDS WAN CHAI - 16:30
Driving a cleaned blue Mercedes, Peter slows down at nearby road works.
PETER (V.O.): Not caring about my direction, I've gone to Chai Wan.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Exploring the parts of Chai Wan that are new to me, I remember the moments.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While my moments aren't perfect to others, they're perfect to me.
