  4. Dressed in smart casual, PETER is having breakfast.


  5. PETER (V.O.): I've to attend two meetings today, one at 9am and another one at 3pm.


  6. Eating a sandwich.


  7. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I know the key points I want to convey. I've good reasons for my opinions.


  8. Drinking green tea.


  9. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'd explain my perspectives in a clear and concise manner. I take ownership of my thoughts and emotions.


  10. Pausing.


  11. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'd influence others to think and do things otherwise they wouldn't think or do.


  12. Peter finishes his breakfast.


  13. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Between the meetings, should I go swimming or returning home to practise the keyboard?

  15. INT. CONFERENCE ROOM, HK CLUB BUILDING - 09:00


  16. Filled with COLLEAGUES.


  17. PETER (V.O.): Although I'm a volunteer here, I've the statutory power to exercise.


  18. Soon, we see and hear SOMEONE presenting.


  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To understand someone's perspectives, I always listen actively.


  20. Pausing.


  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I also practise empathy by imaging someone's experiences, thoughts and emotions.


  22. Later, we see and hear Peter making some short interventions.


  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Every institution depends on its personnel to create and deliver value.


  24. INT. KITCHEN/STUDIO - 12:30


  25. Peter is having fried noodles with sliced pork and vegetables.

  26. PETER (V.O): After the meeting, what caught my eyes was the MTR station. So I took it and brought a takeaway lunch home.

  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Looking back on my civil service career, I found it good that I was paid to achieve societal impact.


  29. Thinking.


  30. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In the final analysis, all businesses, including public ones, have paths to profits.


  31. Finishing his lunch.


  32. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Profits are the positive difference between revenues and expenses.


  33. Peter goes to the studio to practise fingering on keyboard.


  34. EXT. MTR CABIN - 14:30


  35. Peter checks Yahoo!Finance on his mobile.


  36. PETER (V.O.): Despite the general falling market, the IC stock I invested in has reached a record-high price!


  37. Thinking.


  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Opportunities come infrequently, I must capitalize on it timely.


  39. We see Peter placing a "Sell" order quickly and then checks the current market price of the stock again.


  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, the price has already gone up; and I offered to sell below the market price!


  41. Amending his order promptly, Peter sees the remark: "Order partially executed".


  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'd salvage the rest.


  43. Having amended his order, Peter checks the current price of the stock again.


  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, the price has already gone down. I can't sell even at the original price!

  45. Thinking.


  46. PETER (Cont'd): Meanwhile, I've a small profit in one stock and big losses in all the others.


  47. INT. CONFERENCE ROOM, HK CLUB BUILDING - 18:00


  48. Coming out, Peter looks relaxed.


  49. PETER (V.O.): I've discharged all my work commitments this week and can concentrate on writing songs.


  50. Pausing.


  51. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Oh, but now is already Friday evening.

  53. INT. KITCHEN - 20:30


  54. Mobile in hand, Peter prompts an AI drawing bot: "Perspectives & Profits". We see a drawing appearing within seconds.


  55. PETER (V.O.): I think in a user-centric way and stay true to my values in making decisions in professional settings.


  56. Thinking.


  57. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The stock market isn't that predictable. To time the market is hard. What I can do is to adapt to the changing circumstances.


  58. Reflecting.


  59. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I prefer pursuing my personal passions than finding fulfillment in my professional responsibilities.
