  2. Act 1


  3. INT. STUDY - 10:00


  4. Sunlight filters through the window, casting a warm glow on PETER's face.


  5. PETER (V.O.): I want to document a story about my elder son.


  6. FLASHBACK


  7. INT. HOME - SUNDAY (1999)


  8. Holding a video game controller, SON (10) speaks to Peter (45) seriously.


  9. SON: I don't want to go to school anymore. I just want to play video games at home.


  10. PETER (V.O.): OMG, I've just got a day to resolve this crisis.


  11. END FLASHBACK


  12. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): With right strategy, quick execution and great luck, my son returned to school the next day. Otherwise, he can't be a professional now.


  13. Act 2


  14. EXT. CAR PARK, GOLDEN BAY - 13:30


  15. Having just parked his signal-red Nissan 200SX, Peter sees a MAN (40s) approaching him.


  16. MAN: Uncle, your car was my dream car!


  17. PETER: You've good taste. Thank you for your appreciation. It's made in 1989.


  18. MAN: Is that right? Over 30 years old now...


  19. Nodding, Peter walks towards the beach.


  20. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): A shared love for a particular car model can spark a conversation between individuals. This isn't the first time.


  21. Pausing.


  22. PETER (V.O.): Except my family members, others didn't know I mortgaged my apartment to make my dream come true in 1989!


  23. EXT. BEACH, GOLDEN BAY - CONTINUOUS


  24. Putting down his belongings, Peter lies on the sand.


  25. PETER (V.O.): When I was working as a Land Executive in the Tuen Mun District Land Office in 1980, I read about the Bay project.


  26. Peter presses his fingers into the soft grains of sand.

  28. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The sand was moved here.


  29. Peter dips his fingers deeper into the sand.


  30. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): It's my way to massage my fingers. I've been holding my smartphones in an awkward position.


  31. Pausing.


  32. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I don't know if any of my former colleagues would enjoy the facilities here like me.


  33. Peter then swims in the crystal-clear waters.


  34. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Swimming here triggers my nostalgic memories of the past.


  35. Swimming to one outer corner.


  36. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): When there wasn't the Golden Bay, I went to the Castle Peak Bay, the Kadoorie Bay and the Cafeteria Bay in the 1960s.


  37. INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 18:30


  38. Peter gets a garbage bag.


  39. PETER (V.O.): Time to declutter.


  40. Opening a box filled with old Christmas cards, Peter checks the messages inside.


  41. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Very nice ones.


  42. We see a bittersweet expression of Peter's face.


  43. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): But I can't remember all of them.


  44. Pausing.


  45. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): And we've lost touch for a long time.


  46. Reflecting.


  47. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): It's strange how people who were so close can become strangers now.


  48. Checking the addresses on envelopes.


  49. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I've the wild thought to reconnect with them. However, relationships do evolve and change over time.


  50. Taking a deep breath.


  51. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): A few has already passed away.


  52. Act 3


  53. INT. STUDY - 23:00


  54. Peter works before a laptop.


  55. PETER (V.O.): Life is akin to a road, filled with twists and turns.


  56. We see Peter staring at an AI drawing.


  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's called "Roads of Life". At different stages of my life, I've made my choices as to which roads I should go.


  58. Reflecting.


  59. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The experiential learning has shaped who I'm.
