Mobile in hand, PETER is mouthing some Korean words and phrases to the Duolingo App.
PETER (V.O): I believe I've better mental sharpness in the morning.
Practising.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The stock trading during weekdays distracts my focus, as I've to strategize and act timely.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Our maid is on leave today. I haven't had breakfast, and so is Kaji.
Taking a look of the family pet, Peter gets two bananas and shares them with her.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Kaji is content with the near substitute.
Peter resumes practising Korean.
Act 2
INT. LIVING ROOM - 12:15
Peter is still practising Korean as his WIFE is about to go out.
PETER: Where are you going?
WIFE: I'm going to the Post Office. I'll buy takeaway. What do you like to have?
Peter puts aside his mobile.
PETER: Let me keep you company!
PETER (V.O): This is more important than learning Korean.
INT. POST OFFICE - 12:30
Counter. Peter's wife is getting her stamps from a STAFF.
PETER (V.O): In my primary school years, I loved stamp collecting.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O(Cont'd): As no one posted me any letters, I could only collect stamps by buying them.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): And I'd skip breakfast to save a coin to buy used stamps from a stationery store near my school.
PETER: What takeaway should we buy?
WIFE: Since you're with me, we just eat out. I've two restaurants in mind...
PETER: Let's go to the one that we needn't wait.
INT. RESTAURANT, APM - 13:00
Peter and his wife are having some Taiwanese dishes and drinks.
WIFE: The past fortnight has come and gone very quickly.
PETER: It's because our elder daughter was home.
They look at each other.
INT. LIVING ROOM - 15:00
In the course of filling out a tax form, Peter talks to his wife who is working on her laptop.
PETER: Can you help me with the calculations? I used to waste a lot of time doing them.
WIEE: Sure.
PETER: You're a lifesaver, Darling!
Later, Peter looks relieved as he puts stamps on a green envelope.
WIFE: Let's explore the new Airside mall with our pet and have dinner there!
EXT. TERRACE, AIRSIDE, KAI TAK - 20:30
Rainy. Peter's wife helps Kaji put on an orange raincoat.
PETER: Beautiful! Ah! That's the reason why we go out into the rain!
Peter's wife smiles.
PETER (Cont'd): Our pet is actually afraid of gloomy weather...
WIFE: Ha1 Ha! But we're here now!
After doing a few wet-dog shakes, Kaji explores the very wet floor.
PETER (V.O): This should be better than staying home.
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 23:00
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Saturday Enchantments ..." to a draft.
PETER (V.O): For us, this Saturday's rhythms are same and different - like enchantments.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Same - as what we've done aren't unfamiliar to us, and we subconsciously like the continuity and contentment.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Different - as we've paid attention to the small, overlooked details and moments that comprise our life and partnership.
