  4. Decluttering, PETER sees an old newspaper.


  5. PETER (V.O.): Why am I keeping this?

  7. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I see the date of its publication.


  8. Pausing.


  9. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I couldn't foresee that was the date of my last travel since 2020.


  10. Pausing.


  11. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Would others' notice it?

  13. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Should one be watchful for something or someone?

  15. FLASHBACK


  16. INT. STUDY - 11:30


  17. Peter checks emails.


  18. PETER (V.O.): The panel's domain name decision will be issued shortly. This is the first time I've acted as the presiding panelist.


  19. Pausing.


  20. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Apart from my co-panelists, I believe the complainant and the respondent have sharp eyes.


  21. Pausing.


  22. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I've a separate matter to deal with later today.


  23. INT. INTERVIEW ROOM - 14:30


  24. Through an INTERPRETER, Peter is talking to a CLIENT.


  25. PETER (V.O.): I'll go back to chambers after this.


  26. It's 16:30. An LIAISON OFFICER appears.


  27. PETER: A few amendments are required.


  28. The Liaison Officer begins to follow up. Later, some papers are tabled. Peter examines them.


  29. PETER (V.O.): There's something wrong...


  30. Checking.

  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes. I'm right.


  32. Peter then discusses with the Liaison Officer.


  33. PETER: Let's just take it slow to ensure everything is in order.


  34. They work on the papers with sharp eyes.


  35. PETER: Done!


  36. LIAISON OFFICER: It's my first case.


  37. PETER: Don't worry. Everyone has her first experience.


  38. EXT. ROADS - 18:30


  39. Bus stop. Queuing, Peter checks his investment list on the smartphone screen.


  40. PETER (V.O.): Oh, today's stock market continues to fall. I don't need sharp eyes to see my stocks are in the red.


  41. Pausing.


  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Other than me, who would care?


  43. Peter looks up at the dark sky.


  44. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Apart from my loved ones, who would care that I continue to exist?


  45. Pausing.


  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm not that visible, whether on earth or from above.


  47. Thinking.


  48. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): In the end, life and death confine only in me.

  52. Peter takes another look at the old newspaper.

  53. PETER (V.O.): Not many people have the strong ability to notice something or someone.

  55. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe sharp eyes can be nurtured.

  57. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Sharp eyes are like microscopes/telescopes. They enable us to see something or someone more and closer.

  59. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've been keeping a sharp eye on my existence in universe, whether it has meaning or not.
