  3. INT. BEDROOM/LIVIING ROOM - 05:48


  4. Waking up, PETER checks the bedside clock.


  5. PETER (V.O): I did sleep. Let me join my wife and go to the Airport...


  6. As his wife isn't around, Peter goes to find her.


  7. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Oh, she has already left. She knew I've an important meeting to chair this afternoon.


  8. At around 07:30, his wife returns.


  9. WIFE: Our younger daughter's plane has landed early. You're still asleep when I left.


  10. PETER: Where's our younger daughter?


  11. WIFE: She's taking the next lift. She wants to check how our pet would react to her homecoming...


  12. As soon as their younger DAUGHTER appears, KAJI, the family pet, becomes highly alert, rushing forward and jumping up at her.


  13. DAUGHTER: Do you recognize me?


  14. Act 2


  15. INT. LIVING ROOM/BEDROOM- 09:30


  16. Thunderstorms rage outside. We see Peter practising languages with a mobile in hand,


  17. PETER (V.O): For Spanish, French, Portugese and German, I've already reached my 100-day learning streak.


  18. Pausing.


  19. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I believe in progress rather than in perfection.


  20. Later, Peter yawns and joins his sleeping wife in bed.


  21. EXT. SILVERSTRAND BAY - 14:00


  22. Peter strides along the calm, clear waters, taking in the blue sky above.


  23. PETER (V.O): The thunderstorms have passed. I chose to exercise my body first as I anticipate that the meeting time wouldn't be sufficient to transact all the businesses.


  24. INT. CONFERENCE ROOM, HKUST - 14:45


  25. Appearing, Peter begins to engage COLLEAGUES#1 and #2.


  26. PETER:...I'm 70! I won't mention "years old" though.


  27. COLLEAGUES#1&#2: That's positive!


  28. PETER: I'm still trying to get stakeholders work together to make Hong Kong an IP Trading Hub.

  30. PETER (Cont'd): My original vision is an international one. Now, the Administration has watered it down to a regional one.

  32. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Anyhow, I know proof of concept isn't easy.

  35. B. Presentations. MEMBERS are remarking.

  36. C. Invited presentations. Other COLLEAGUES introduce projects and PRESENTORS.

  38. PETER (V.O): Apart from transacting meeting businesses, I can know again the names of familiar faces...Wagne, Carol and David.

  40. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Last year, I joined the Office of Knowledge Transfer (OKT)'s X'mas party and sang my HKUST-OKT song.

  42. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): They all know me, but I can't remember their names.


  43. After the end of meeting, COLLEAGUE#3 approaches Peter.


  44. COLLEAGUE#3: Mr Cheung, if you're attending the ad hoc meeting on Legal Affairs, I'll lead you to another conference room.


  45. PETER: Yes, please!


  46. We see Peter joining COLLEAGUES#4, #5, #6, #7 and giving his opinions.


  47. INT. LIVING ROOM - 18:15


  48. Returning, Peter sees his younger daughter only.


  49. DAUGHTER: Mom has just gone out with our pet.


  50. PETER: Let me join them in the riverside park now.

  52. INT. LIVING ROOM/BEDROOM - 22:30


  53. Having finished his dessert, Peter returns to the bedroom and inserts an AI drawing entitled "Silver Linings" to a draft on a laptop.


  54. PETER (V.O): Silver linings are everywhere. I've a positive outlook and I'm engaging.


  55. Thinking.


  56. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): My daily experience, from professional responsibilities to family time, are important to me.


  57. Reflecting.


  58. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): All these cherished moments create a rich, meaningful life for me.
