Smartphone in hand. We see PETER reading an email and attachments.
PETER (V.O.): I'd better dispose of this matter right away.
Typing on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My responsibility is to do what I can.
Typing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To argue with an unreasonable person is like administering medicine to the dead.
Checking his reply.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My time is precious.
Peter presses "Send".
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. LIFT LOBBY, HIGH FLOOR - 09:00 (Today)
Two lifts. Appearing, Peter presses the button for the one that stops at even floors. A neighbour's MAID then appears.
PETER: Morning!
Having said Good morning to Peter, the maid presses the button of the other lift that stops at all floors. And the lift she calls for arrives first.
PETER (Cont'd): You get in. I'll take the other one. See which lift arrives at the G/F first.
Arriving at G/F, Peter checks that the other lift is still on the 8/F.
EXT. ST. STEPHEN'S BAY - 13:45
Lying at the beach with a smartphone in hand, a wet-haired Peter is checking an email with attachments.
PETER (V.O.): My comment could impact on Hong Kong's innovative ecosystem. Let me share my vision to all now.
Typing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To create value, I try to influence others to think in ways they wouldn't think about.
Typing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Others might think my views aren't realistic. But future possibilities are limited by the current lack of imagination.
Having checked the contents, Peter presses "Send".
EXT. BUS TERMINAL, STANLEY - 14:31
Arriving. Peter sees a route# 973 bus departing.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, I meant to take it to Tsimshatsui direct.
Seeing PASSENGERS are boarding an express route#260 bus to Central, Peter joins them.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Instead of having roast goose noodles in Tsimshatsui, I may have other afternoon tea sets eg in Wan Chai or Admiralty.
Seated inside the bus, Peter is still in thoughts.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I haven't any particular restaurant in mind. Let me change at Admiralty and take the MTR to Tsimshatsui.
INT. RESTAURANT, TSIMSHATSUI - 15: 45
Having made his order, Peter checks the time on his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.): I might have arrived a bit earlier than taking the missed route#973 bus.
A bowl of roast goose noodles is put on the table.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm hungry. It's stupid to wait for nearly 30 minutes for the next route# 973 bus.
END FLASHBACK
INT. BEDROOM - 21:00
Instructing his assistant in All_The_Photos, Peter types on screen: Create a Pixar animation style image depicting smart moves... Peter sees an animated image appearing in seconds.
PETER (V.O.): I don't like the featured character wearing a beard and a moustache.
Amending his instructions, Peter gets a quick reply without any image.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My instructions are too long?
Having simplified his instructions, Peter finds no response from his smartphone at all.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me use another smartphone and another bot.
Grabbing another smart phone, Peter instructs his assistant in Photo_CreateE and gets a red notification: Photo_CreateE stopped responding.
INT. DINING ROOM - 22:00
Over dinner with his WIFE, Peter continues to give instructions on screen and check the images generated.
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 23:00
Working before a laptop with smartphones by his side, Peter is in thoughts.
PETER (V.O.): Life doesn't always go as planned. I think critically and strategically to overcome obstacles and achieve my objectives.
Having checked saved images in his smartphones, Peter selects one.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This image depicting the smart moves I made today is acceptable.
Pondering.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Being positive, flexible and persistent, I strive to adapt to unexpected situations.
