  1. FADE IN


  2. Act 1


  3. INT. BEDROOM - CORRIDOR - DINING ROOM - 20:45


  4. We hear: Diner's ready!


  5. PETER : Okay!


  6. We see Peter's WIFE passing food to a DAUGHTER who is wearing a face mask. The couple then begin their dinner.


  7. PETER: The crab roe flavour is strong; the crab meat and prawns are very tasty.


  8. WIFE: Of course, they're fresh from the market.


  9. PETER: Restaurant chefs can't beat you,


  10. Finishing one bowl of rice, Peter hesitates to add more.


  11. PETER(Cont'd): It's so delicious, we'd leave some for our daughter.


  12. WIFE: No worry, I've given her a large portion.


  13. PETER: It's good that she has appetite again.


  14. Act 2


  15. FLASHBACK


  16. INT. BATHROOM - 21:30 (YESTERDAY)


  17. Sitting on the toilet, Peter looks unwell.


  18. PETER (V.O.): I'm having a diarrhea. How come?


  19. Pausing.


  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're eating the same thing. Only I've the problem.

  22. Pausing.


  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But our very hygienic daughter is still sick for a different reason.


  24. INT. UPPER FLOOR LIFT LOBBY - 10:45 (TODAY)


  25. Looking excited, Peter captures a few photos.


  26. PETER (V.O.): I haven't come out for seven days.


  27. INT. LIFT - CONTINUOUS


  28. Door opening at a lower floor. PETER sees a WOMAN entering.


  29. PETER: Morning, Mrs Chan.


  30. MRS CHAN: Morning. Japan has lifted its travel restrictions...


  31. Peter nods.


  32. MRS CHAN (Cont'd): You haven't seen your elder daughter for more than two years...


  33. PETER: Yes, we'll meet ...


  34. They part at the G/F.


  35. PETER (V.O.): Our daughters studied in the same kindergarten. She recommended our children to learn Taekwondo.


  36. INT. McDONALD'S - CONTINUOUS


  37. Having done his orders, Peter gets a chit and sees its no. "000".


  38. PETER (V.O.): Starting over, just like my family now!


  39. EXT. ESTATE PARK - CONTINUOUS


  40. Holding the chit, Peter jogs along the track.


  41. PETER (V.O.): Jogging today is particularly nice.


  42. MONTAGE OF PETER'S OTHER ACTIVITIES TODAY


  43. A. McDonald's on the dining table, Peter shares pancakes with KAJI, the family pet.


  44. B. In his studio, having played the Clavinova, Peter picks up a Fender bass guitar to play. We hear the basslines of Cream's hit "Sunshine of Your Love".


  45. C. In his bedroom, Peter is blowing a King flute and we hear unclear scale sounds. Later, Peter plays guitar solo with a semi-hollow SE electric guitar.


  46. END MONTAGE & RETURN TO PRESENT


  47. INT. DINING ROOM - 21:30


  48. Peter and his wife are skyping with their three children on screen.


  49. PETER (To screen): Son, I saw your nice photos on FB.


  50. SON (From screen): I won a medal on Kendo, but missed one on Fencing.


  51. PETER: To engage is good enough.


  52. WIFE: Don't be upset. Start over again.


  53. Act 3


  54. INT. CORRIDOR - BEDROOM - CONTINOUS


  55. As Peter is at the corridor, we hear a daughter saying from screen: I'm going to rent an apartment in Seoul...


  56. PETER (V.O.): We're starting over, not from scratch, but from experience.

  57. Peter goes to his work station in the bedroom.


  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Life is a process, - just one thing after another.


  59. Peter works on his laptop.


  60. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We live our lives the way we always wanted. - starting today.
