PETER (V.O): I'd sleep for a few more hours.
Peter reaches for his mobile at a bedside table.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Curiosity gets the better of me.
Peter searches for UK news.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Why did the UK PM call for a general election? Did he know he'd lose it?
Reading.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Ah, I see. Constitutionally, he has to call a general election this year.
Reading.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Seizing a brief window of opportunity, he made the move.
Act 2
INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
Then a caption gets Peter's attention.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): A woman marrying a homeless man?
Reading the narrative, Peter frowns.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The short story is full of unrealistic tensions. Mother wants to talk her out of the marriage, but father is supportive.
Reeding
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): And only at the end of the story would the man explain that he was once a successful entrepreneur and then his house was burnt down...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): And so he has to sleep in a park and then meets the woman who wants to help him...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Hmph. This story is full of unrealistic family tensions.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): My stories may not be dramatic, but they're real.
Later, Peter sees an email from Ricky cc to him.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Days ago, I've signed a formal thank-you letter to Ricky, an exiting Member of my Committee.
Reading.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I'm heartened to hear that he's Dean of Systems Hub at HKUST (GZ) and Senior Advisor to the Vice-President on R&D...
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I've heard that he's a yachtsman too...Let me thank him again.
Taping an animation bot, Peter enters the prompt: Ricky - the Yachtsman. Within seconds, we see an AI drawing, depicting a young Ricky at the helm of a yacht.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's only one image like that.
Peter types on screen; ...Do continue to help all sail better in the Greater Bay and beyond. And then he inserts the AI drawing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Yes, let me add the subtitle: Peter Cheung's Impression of Ricky.
Having sent the email, Peter notes a string of lengthy emails with many attachments.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): OMG, it's from my instructing solicitor.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I meant to go swimming in the Golden Coast and then to jump-starting my SMART car in my suburban home today.
Having browsed through the contents, Peter does some research.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've an idea how challenging is the job.
MONTAGE OF PETER'S SUBSEQUENT ACTIVITIES.
A. Home. Afternoon. Peter does his daily quests in learning Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Japanese and Korean.
B. Golden Coast. Peter swims non-stop in the sea waters for about 45 minutes.
C. Peter's suburban home. Peter jump-starts his SMART car and moves other cars.
D. After some decluttering of his house, Peter cleans the floors.
E. Later, having played the piano, Peter rests on a sofa, looking very tired.

INT. BEDROOM - 21:30
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Sunrise Curiosity" to a draft.
PETER (V.O): Sunrise evokes a new day, while curiosity suggests an active, engaging mindset.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Even at the age of 70, I'm still inquisitive and engaging.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): A vibrant, purposeful existence trumps all!
