  5. PETER puts aside his iPad Minis.


  6. PETER (V.O.): I've done my daily quests in Portuguese, German and Korean already.


  7. Peter grabs his goggles.


  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today, I've got to swim in the morning session, as my wife and I will pay a visit to Alfred in the afternoon.


  9. Pausing.


  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I fixed the visit yesterday. My wife had just finished her exam in Korean.

  12. Pausing.


  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And the visit, my wife and I would dine in La Serene in Sogo.


  14. We see Peter looking wide-eyed, his expression full of anticipation.


  15. Act 2

  17. EXT. MTR STATION, SAI YING PUN - 16:00

  19. At Exit B1, Peter and his WIFE queue at a minibus stand, each carrying a bag of fruit.


  20. PETER (V.O.): I believe Alfred's wife waited here twice a day to go home when his husband was hospitalized.


  21. EXT. LYTTELTON ROAD, MID-LEVELS - 16:15


  22. Peter and his wife get off from a minibus.


  23. PETER: Where's Park View Court?


  24. WIFE: Right here!


  25. Recalling.


  26. PETER (V.O.): When I was studying at HKU from 1981-1985, I drove to the University and the last part of the journey involved turning onto Lyttelton Road.


  27. Recalling.


  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): At the end of the Road leading to HKU's West Gate, there're a few metered parking lots and I'd park my coupe there.


  29. Peter gazes at Park View Court.


  30. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I never paid much attention to the buildings along the way.


  31. INT. ALFRED'S HOME - LATER


  32. Spacious. Welcomed by Alfred's WIFE, Peter and his wife step inside and find Alfred sitting in a chair.


  33. PETER: We've brought some fruit with us.


  34. They then take a seat on either side of Alfred.


  35. PETER: Hi Alfred! You look great!


  36. PETER'S WIFE: Much better than you're at the hospital.


  37. Alfred smiles faintly, as they take turns holding his left hand.


  38. PETER (V.O.): Since the stroke, Alfred has lost his ability to move his right hand.


  39. aLFRED'S WIFE: After taking some medication, Alfred has become calm and communicates through gestures rather than words.


  40. Alfred points at the bags of fruit.


  41. Alfred's WIFE: You'd like to have some fruit now?


  42. Alfred nods slightly.


  43. PETER'S WIFE: How about some Mandarin oranges?


  44. Peter's wife takes out a Mandarin orange, peels it, and offers a slice to Alfred, who opens his mouth to accept it.


  45. ALFRED'S WIFE: You should use your own hand.


  46. Later, after sharing slices of pear, Alfred gestures to Peter's wife and then points in the direction of the corridor.


  47. ALFRED'S WIFE: To go to the washroom right?


  48. As Alfred gives a slight nod, Peter's wife stands up, followed closely by Peter. When they return, Alfred's wife gently inquires about his frail husband.


  49. ALFRED'S WIFE: Do you want to go as well?


  50. As Alfred nods, his wife calls for two domestic HELPERS to support him on either side.


  51. PETER (V.O.): Alfred always prioritizes the interest of me and my family above his own.


  52. The helpers hand Alfred a walking stick, and together, they proceed at a slow pace toward the restroom.


  53. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I understand how discouraging it can be for Alfred who used to be an enthusiastic runner.


  54. Later, they pose for photos together, before waving goodbye to each other.


  55.  Act 3

  57. INT. STUDY - 22:30

  58.  

  59. Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "The Fruit of Friendship..." to a draft on his laptop.

  61. PETER (V.O): The true reflection comes from an old friend, not from any mirror.


  62. Thinking.

  63.  

  64. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Friendship is the fruit of the mighty tree; it flourishes with time and care.


  65.  Reflecting.

  66.  

  67. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): In the garden of friendship, love blossoms as the sweetest fruit.


  68.  FADE OUT
