  3. INT. STUDIO - 09:45


  4. Sunlight streams through the windows.


  5. PETER (V.O.): It's time to practise playing the keyboard.


  6. Sheet music in hand, Peter goes to a Clavinova.


  7. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Let me play "La Mer".


  8. Peter plays the French song.


  9. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I love the melody.


  10. Peter then plays "Moulin Rouge - Where's Your Heart?"


  11. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I love its lyrics too. I visited Moulin Rouge more than once.


  12. Peter tries to find something and then checks the time.


  13. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Where's the sheet music for "La Vie En Rose"? Oh, I've to go to lunch now.


  14. Act 2


  15. INT. BEIJING GARDEN - 12:45


  16. Peter is chatting with a lady FRIEND over lunch.


  17. FRIEND: I read your screenplays.


  18. PETER (V.O.): She studied English Literature. We've value alignment.


  19. Peter is nodding.


  20. FRIEND (Cont'd): I particularly like the one about your journeying home with your son and his fiancee.


  21. PETER (V.O.): She encouraged me to keep up with my writings.


  22. FRIEND (Cont'd): Here's something I bought in Japan for them.


  23. The friend presents Peter with a nicely-packed gift.


  24. FRIEND (Cont'd): They should like it, as I sought the views of my children beforehand.

  25. PETER (V.O.): I feel my heart swellling with gratitude!


  26. PETER: I thank you on their behalf.


  27. FRIEND: Some more to come later on.


  28. PETER (V.O.): A good friend is one who makes everything all right - a connection to life.


  29. DAYDREAMING SEQUENCE


  30. A. New home. Sipping lemonade, a lovely couple notices the magic cups keeping ice cubes frozen.

  31. B. Old home. The couple in their golden years cherishes the magic cups as they symbolize their bond and everlasting love.


  32. RETURN TO PRESENT


  33. EXT. ST. STEPHEN'S BAY - 16:30


  34. Emerging from the water, Peter walks back to his spot and lies flat on the sand.


  35. PETER (V.O.): I love swimming in baywaters. My routine is good for my body and my look.


  36. We hear the sound of waves coming on shore.


  37. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): It's the language of nature.


  38. Later, Peter overhears a conversation in French.


  39. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I admire the elegant langage. But I don't know what they're talking about.


  40. Pausing.


  41. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): My wife and I may visit France next year. Should I learn French again?


  42. Thinking of something, Peter grabs his smartphone.


  43. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Let me re-read the screenplay my lady friend remarked.


  44. We see Peter reading the one entitled "Legacy of Love".


  45. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): My mood was mixed.


  46. Re-reading.


  47. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Did my work reflect the language of joy?


  48. Pausing.


  49. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I always envy couples growing old together.


  50. Peter takes a deep breadth.


  51. Act 3


  52. INT. STUDIO - 20:00


  53. Background music. Checking a WhatsApp message, Peter looks very happy.


  54. PETER (V.O.): Great news from my lady friend! While music is a universal language, friendship has a positive impact on my life.


  55. Smiling.


  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unexpected events can lead to meaningful connections and bring me joy.


  57. Staring at an AI drawing on his smartphone screen.


  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It depicts "the language of joy". Through today's events, I find true happiness from within.
