  7. Beneath the bold header "Vehicle Registration Document", the details reveal the Model: Eunos 30X 1.8 "A".

  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Eunos was marketed as Mazda's upscale, fun to drive line.

  9. We see the Date of First Registration: 22/02/1995.

  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The 30X a 2+2- seat front -wheel drive coupe; and I still love its stylish kammback design.

  14. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For many years, my 30X has been the only Eunos car I've seen on the road.

  15. Act 2

  16.

  18.

  19. Waiting area. Peter looks restless.

  20. PETER (V.O.): Recently, my coupe has been making some unusual sounds under the hood. I don't know if it can pass the test.

  21. Peter makes hmself a cup of coffee before reaching for a car magazine from the shelf.

  22. PETER (V.O.): I read it the last time I came. It was the publisher's final edition, released in Feb 2024.

  23. Peter then immerses himself in the pages.

  24. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're no signs indicating that the publication would soon be discontinued.

  25. Pausing.

  26. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just hope that my coupe can hold up. It might be the last of its type in Hong Kong.

  27. Later, a MECHANIC, holding a clipboard, approaches Peter.

  28. MECHANIC: Here's your coupe's certificate of roadworthiness.

  29. Peter's face lights up with joy.

  30. PETER: Thank you very much!

  31. PETER (V.O.): The life of my coupe can be extended!

  32. EXT. STREETS - 15:15

  33. Peter stops the coupe before traffic lights.

  34. PETER (V.O.): Let me now go to my car repair shop to check what causes the car's irregular sounds.

  35. But cars are at a standstill. Car horns fill the air.

  36. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's the matter?

  37. Peter glances at the temperature gauge.

  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh no, the needle rises dangerously high.

  39. Peter looks very worried, although the cars begin to move forward slowly.

  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Traffic is too heavy to pull over.

  41. Then, a FIREMAN steps onto the road, his fire engiine having broken down.

  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't think we should aggregate the problem here. Just hold on, old friend.

  43. Peter accelerates through a yellow light, quickly turns onto a side road and pulls over.

  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I must let the overheated engine cool down to avoid costly damage to the V6 engine.

  45. Peter turns off the engine, takes out his smartphone and dials for assistance.

  46. PETER (To phone):...I believe my coupe's water pump has gone bad...

  47. SOMEONE (From phone): Okay, our rescue team will bring water...

  48. Later, we see the rescue TEAM pouring two litres of water into the radiator.

  49. PETER (V.O.): I had no idea my coupe was so thirsty.

  50. Recalling.

  51. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The last time I drove it was night, covering a distance of 50 km...

  52. Pausing.

  53. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My 30-year old Eunos 30X has treated me well.
