Sitting at the Clavinova, PETER is practising diligently.
PETER (V.O.): I select the songs that resonate with my musical taste.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I try to make the challenging learning process enjoyable and fulfilling.
We see Peter's fingers hitting more confidently over the keys.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): With each passing note, I notice my improvement.
Practising.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Through improvisation outside my comfort zone, I can get more creative.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Oh yes, today is Valentine's Day...
Act 2
INT. BEDROOM/BATHROOM - 12:00
Peter's WIFE is still sleeping in bed as Peter returns with a red rose in hand.
PETER (V.O.): The sight reminds me of my song "Wind Flower, Snowy Moon" about retirement.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): The lyrics include "...sleep until noon..."
Pausing.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Today is a work day, but my wife has been on pre-retirement leave since Feb.
Going to the bathroom, Peter places the red rose in a vase, carefully arranging it.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): This is the little heartfelt gesture I can do on Valentine's Day.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Although we've married for 30 years, I still nurture our loving relationship.
Peter gets to the bed to keep his sleeping wife company.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Let me also wish everybody Happy Valentine's Day.
Surfing his YouTube channels, Peter mines his MV entitled "Cupid" and watches it.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): I love the melody, the lyrics and the visuals.
Peter then shares his MV on Facebook.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): I hope to inspire viewers to find their unique ways to express their loving feelings.
INT. DINING ROOM - 15:00
Peter and his wife are having some fried Chinese carrot cakes.
PETER (V.O.): It's my wife's first meal today.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Would this become one of our routines?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Anyway, we're flying out to Seoul within 48 hours.
MONTAGE OF ACTIVITIES OF PETER AND HIS WIFE LATER
A. Car park, shopping mall. As Peter's wife has gone to the market, Peter and KAJI, the family pet, wait patiently inside a car.
B. Roadside, pet garden. As Peter's wife walks Kaji in the garden, Peter waits inside the car to avoid being booked.
END MONTAGE
EXT. PARKING BAY, ESTATE - 19:00
Peter and his wife unload the purchase and Kaji.
PETER (V.O): We used to do that either on Sat or Sun. I believe we're enjoying the freedom retirement can bring.
INT. DINING ROOM - 21:00
Over dinner, Peter's wife makes a remark.
WIFE: I'll return to the office tomorrow to handover everything. It'll be my last day in the office.
PETER (V.O): When people wished me "Happy Retirement", I had great reservations about it.
PETER: Darling, all good things must come to an end, otherwise they wouldn't be good.
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 23:00
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "The Melody of Love..." to a text.
PETER (V.O): The concept represents a romantic and enchanting portrayal of a relationship between two individuals.
We hear from a bedside radio the song "All You Need Is Love".
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Love knows no boundaries, including age-related characteristics. It unites two souls in a profound and heartfelt connection.
We hear the outro lyrics: Love is all you need...
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The melody of love plays on lovers' hearts, filling our hearts with joy and harmony.
