PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Mt Fuji wasn't lit up during the night, but on the morningside, it brings out a better outlook.
Peter checks other images.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My elder daughter has already had a full breakfast while I was still dreaming.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Japanese breakfast time isn't flexible; and check-out time is usually at 10am.
Having replied, Peter gets other What'sApp messages.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, she's already in the vicinity of Lake Kawaguchi (河口湖).
Act 2
EXT. STREETS - 12:45
Walking, Peter buttons up his shirt's the collar button.
PETER (V.O.): Today is quite cool. It's warm when compared with Japan.
Waiting at a bus stop, Peter checks What'sApp images.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, is there a Lake Kawaguchi (河口湖) Ropeway? I don't know about that.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We visited Kawaguchiko a couple of times. Every time our focus was on the lake.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We had lake cruises there.
Peter checks an image shot from a cable car.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The outlook from the Ropeway is very different.
Peter surfs the web.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the Ropeway has been there since 1959.
Boarding a bus, Peter sits on the upper deck.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel like going out today.
Seeing the Victoria harbour, Peter takes photos with his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Hong Kong is beautiful too.
Later, Peter gets off at K11 MUSEA at Tsimshatsui.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The mall appeals to my senses. A Sony store is there too.
INT. K11 MUSEA - 13:30.
Entrance. A sculpture depicting a headless woman with broken limbs gets Peter's attention.
PETER (V.O.): This surreal artwork is full of contrasts. It fuses high and low arts, construction and destruction.
Sony store. Peter pays for a wireless headset.
PETER (V.O.): Let me buy something Japanese.
Holding the box, Peter checks some small prints.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it's made in Malaysia.
EXT. PROMENADE, TSIMSHATSUI - 15:00
Facing the Victoria harbour, Peter is in thoughts.
PETER (V.O.): I wanted to buy another pair of Bluetooth speakers. But they're out of stock. Let me try other retailers.
Peter calls and sends messages.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The same for retailers. No luck.
INT. MTR CABIN - 15:15
Having screen time, Peter looks puzzled.
PETER (V.O.): My elder daughter has given up having Tam Tsai noodles in Tokyo this evening?

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She couldn't bear the two-hour waiting queue formed by Hongkongers?
Peter sees a WOMAN sanitizing a seat before sitting down.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, life is at stake. Many Hong Kong centenarians fall because of COVID-19.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 23:30
. Putting his new headset by the bedside, Peter is pondering.
PETER (V.O): I don't have to be too concerned with my children. They're independent and good.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They select their choices and know what changes to adapt.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Seeing how they've grown up, I feel sunshine on my shoulders.
Peter re-watches an image of Mt Fuji on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They'll create a better outlook for the future.
