FADE IN
Act 1
DREAM SEQUENCE
EXT. SOMEWHERE IN TIME
PETER appears.
PETER (V.O): This place is familiar. I've been here many times.
Peter looks around.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): How can I walk straight here without crawling through the tunnel?
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The space in the tunnel is so tight that I can barely move...and I crawl everytime...
INT. BEDROOM - 08:15
In bed, Peter wakes up abruptly, disoriented.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Was I dreaming? It feels like a continuation of past dreams, so vivid that it creates a sense of living in two worlds.
Act 2
INT. DINING ROOM - 08:30
Peter is sharing breakfast with KAJI, the family pet.
PETER (V.O.): Let me ask DeepSeek to explain my two-world phenomenon.
Having sent his prompt, Peter reads the response.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): My dreams might be reflecting unresolved thoughts, emotions, or experiences from my waking life...
Reading.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): My subconscious mind may revisit these matters in dreams, creating a sense of continuity.
Nodding.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): In processing and consolidating my memories, my brain is working through similar memories and experiences...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): That's why both the setting and my role keep recurring.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Could the issue of decluttering in my waking life be influencing my dreams?
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Does it mean that I've been carrying something heavy for a long time. And now ...I don't need to anymore.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I did cook up my Project Pheonix last night. I'm quite ready to let go of past burdens,
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Life often feels like living in two worlds - the external world of reality and the inner world of thoughts, emotions, and dreams.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): My dreams act as a metaphor for my inner journey.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): That I don't have to crawl the tunnel anymore symbolizes my readiness to move forward with ease.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I need to understand myself and my subconscious mind better.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): My past experiences shape who I'm; but they don't have to define my future.
INT. PUBLIC COMPLEX - 15:45
Swimming pool entrance/exit. A wet-haired Peter speaks to STAFF#1 anxiously.
PETER: I believe I've left my hat inside locker 139...
Once inside, Peter rushes to the locker, only to find it empty. He asks STAFF#2.
PETER: Have you picked up a hat on the floor?
STAFF#2: No.
PETER (V.O): After exiting, I took the lift to the library on the 5/F and suddenly realized I wasn't wearing my hat.
Soon, Peter steps into the lift and spots his hat resting on the handle.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Oh, I'm so forgetful...would I have to crawl the tunnel again?
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 21:30
Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "The Other Side of Sleep..." to a draft on his laptop.
PETER (V.O): I recognise the possible significance of my dreams.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I find meaning in both my struggles, such as forgetfulness and my breakthroughs, like clarity that comes from decluttering.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Growth often happens in the quiet moments of reflection and that the path to peace begins within.
