FLASHBACK
INT. RESTAURANT - 12:00 (Yesterday)
Over a dim-sum lunch, Peter and FAMILY are chatting.
SON (to Peter): Dad, you haven't joined the Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme?
PETER: No...I'm narrow-minded...
WIFE (to Peter): You'll take a Faecal Occult Blood test first. Colonoscopy doesn't necessarily follow.
Looking lost, Peter surfs with web with his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.): I need to learn what the Programme is all about.
SON: Dad, when can you make the earliest medical appointment?

Sunny and quiet panorama. Peter sees no swimmer.
PETER (V.O.): The super typhoon has just gone. Am I an early bird?
Strolling along, Peter sees one unmanned lifeguard tower and then another.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):No lifeguard service?
Peter then sees a red flag hoisting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I come here to swim and exercise my body.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, I won't swim in deep water...
Soon, Peter begins to swim not far away from the shorefront.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love the water's coolness to envelop me.
Suddenly, Peter feels a subtle disturbance in the water.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): With each stroke, I feel a fleeting touch of my hands and a gentle brush against my skin...
FLASHBACK
EXT. SILVERSTRAND BEACH, SAI KUNG - EVENING (Aug 26, 2023)
We hear public announcements from beach speakers. Seeing Peter is about to swim, a STAFF comes to talk to him.
STAFF: "Young man", there're lots of jellyfish in the water today...
PETER: Is that right? I'll swim in the shallow water then...
STAFF: Jellyfish's long tentacles can inject venom from its many barbed stingers. I suggest you'd better not swim...
PETER: What would happen if I got jellyfish stings?
STAFF: Instant pain...some stings may cause whole-body illness...
PETER: I heed your advice then.
END FLASHBACK
We see Peter leaving the water right away.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But could they be debris? What if I swim in deep waters?
Returning to the water, Peter begins to swim farther away from the shore.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over.
