Smiling, PETER is watching a video clip on YouTube.
PETER (V.O.): The old router works again as if it has re-born.
We hear someone singing: The young ones, Darling we're the young ones. And the young ones shouldn't be afraid...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was a Cliff Richard's 1962 number 1 hit. I was then 8 years old.
We see on screen: Cliff Richard - the Young Ones (75th Birthday Concert, Royal Albert Hall, 14 Oct 2015.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): He's now 81 years old. And I'm 68.
We hear Cliff Richard singing:...Tomorrow, why wait till tomorrow? 'Cause tomorrow, sometimes never comes...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While I was studying in London from 1986 -1987, I went to the Royal Albert Hall to watch a concert. The Hollies was performing.
We hear the chorus of the song: Once in every lifetime, comes a love like this. I need you and you need me...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Shouldn't we love while the flame is strong?
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. HOME, TIN SUM SAN TSUEN - DAY (1968)
Holding an acoustic guitar, Peter (14) is strumming C I Am I C I Am II C I Am I C I Am x 2.
PETER (V.O.) : They say an easy way to pick up guitar strumming is to play the intro of Cliff Richard's 1960 song "Evergreen Tree".
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I was young, the songs I sang were all love songs. In May 1974, I sang "Visions" for Sharon.
Watching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For the songs I composed since 2010, they're all in Key C and are easy to play.
Watching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just want others to know that creativity is in us. If I can do it, so can anybody.
Watching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On my way home after work today, I saw a few young ones wearing bright shawls.
Watching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I suppose they're going to have fun. And that's what they should do when they're young.
Watching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And they'll have more stories to tell when they're old.
We hear Cliff Richard singing from screen: ...And some day, while the years have flown, Darling, then we teach the young ones of our own.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I gave my children equal opportunities; and they tend to surprise me.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They all attended the same Tom Lee Music classes. They all had a good sense of music.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): One played the cello in the school orchestra and another got grade 8 in piano performance.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I also let them study overseas. Only my elder daughter's opportunity was delayed by choice as she preferred to read at CUHK.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Circumstances have become such that upon graduation from CUHK, my elder daughter learned Japanese in Japan and is about to Korean in South Korea.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My wife and I were arts students. It was beyond our imagination that our son who was excellent in arts could also do science.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And he's doing well in his study of medicine.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While the young ones have lots of hope, the old ones have lots of memories.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As I'm old enough to know better; I know I can't do everything now.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):Eg I don't mind sitting in the elderly section of public transport.
Act 3
INT. STUDIO - CONTINUOUS
As Peter clicks "Watch again", we hear the intro guitar riff of "The Young Ones".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was young once. I worked it right, more or less.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wanting to stay young, I keep on learning.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Coupled with a loving heart, I still feel young, at times.
Smiling, Peter opens a box to take out a new white wireless mouse and a USB.
