FADE IN
Act 1
EXT. ESTATE STREET - 09:00
PETER parks a cyber-green New Beetle in a passing place.
PETER (V.O.): I didn't provide valet parking service to my wife yesterday morning as I was in court.
Peter waits at the driver seat.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My wife isn't an early bird. She stays up late and wakes up late.
Seeing his WIFE approaching, Peter gets off the car.
WIFE: Macao has hoisted the typhoon signal no.8!
Peter smiles.
PETER (V.O.): My wife yearns for less work. But a lawyer's job is never done.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We'll have our holidays in Nov this year.
Act 2
INT. STUDIO - 10:00
Smart phone in hand, Peter is checking answer requests on Quora.
PETER (V.O.): One request is about Oliver Newton-John. She died on Aug 8 at the age of 73.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I didn't know she was five years older than me. What other things I don't know?
Surfing Wikipedia, Peter reads "Olivia Newton-John".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, her 1971 song "If Not For You" was a cover version of a Bob Dylan song.
Reading "Relationships".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She was engaged to but never married Bruce Welch...
Peter taps a blue link "Bruce Welch".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the gentleman is a founding member of the Shadows - my favourite instrumental band.
Peter taps the "Shadows" link.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, he wrote the guitar instrumental "Theme for Young Lovers" in 1964!
As Peter taps a link, we see a device featuring a Fender Stratocaster and hear melodic guitar music.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I didn't know the title of the instrumental until 1974. Then, I began dating Sharon. We married in 1979.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whenever I practise guitar solo, I'd start playing "Theme for Young Lovers".
Having taken a look of a red Fender rhythm guitar nearby, Peter reads on.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the rhythm guitarist also co-wrote Cliff Richard's 1963 song "Summer Holiday"!
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sharon and I liked to travel. Initially, we only travelled during the Summer holidays.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whenever I listen to the song "Summer Holiday", it'd trigger my holiday mood.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before I turned to composing, I just focused on the performing artist rather than the composer or the lyrist.
Pondering.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What would my life be like if I turned to composing in the 1970s?
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, love, cars and philosophy were all of my life.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Looking back, love is most important of all and it's never too young to fall in love.
Peter sees an incoming mail on his smart phone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday is gone. But I still have hearing notes to write.
Referring to handwritten notes in a file, Peter types on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me wind down my legal work and do more creative ones.
Having sent an email attaching the notes, Peter soon sees a message.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A business lunch invitation?
Act 3
EXT. ESTATE STREET - 14:15
Cloudy. Peter walks towards a mall.
PETER (V.O.): Just then, I've declined a very kind offer.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Working in retirement, I've no hesitation to give priority to those who are dear and close to me.
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The love of my old heart is like deep burning coals.
No wind, no rain.
