  3. EXT. CASTLE PEAK ROAD - 11:00


  4. Gold Coast. PETER stops his silver Eunos 30X before a pedestrian crossing.

  5. PETER (V.O.): I'll arrive the Golden Beach soon.


  6. Peter sees a crossing PEDESTRIAN observing his old coupe.


  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Does he know that under the bonnet of this 1800cc coupe, there's a V-6 engine?


  8. Having had a 180 ° perspective of Peter's old coupe, the pedestrian gestures a thumbs-up to Peter.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a pleasant surprise!


  10. Peter nods to show his appreciation.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For many years now, I haven't seen another Eunos 30X on the roads of Hong Kong.


  12. Peter steps on the accelerator.


  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The cars I drive say a lot about me.

  15. FLASHBACK


  16. INT. FOYER, BUSINESS SCHOOL, HKUST - DAY (10 DAYS AGO)


  17. Peter sees a lady COLLEAGUE carrying a designer's handbag.


  18. PETER: Your handbag is classy and stylish!


  19. COLLEAGUE (Smiling widely): Is that right?


  20. The colleague is quick to let Peter have a 360° view of her yellow handbag.


  21. PETER: Beautiful!


  22. COLLEAGUE: Bags are to women as cars are to men.


  23. PETER: Yes. Cars are high maintenance though.


  24. COLLEAGUE: Do you change your cars from time to time?


  25. PETER: No, I won't desert what I love. And so my cars are very old ones.

  26. END FLASHBACK


  27. INT. MUM'S HOME, HUNG SHUI KIU - 13:00


  28. Bathroom. Two TRADEMEN are fixing the basin, the toilet and the bath. Peter's BROTHER is overseeing.


  29. PETER (V.O.): My siblings have organized it. I want to give support.


  30. While his MUM is talking to him endlessly, the dirty main door has Peter's attention.


  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't bear to see the dirty marks near the door handle.


  32. Peter begins to clean the main door as his MUM watches.


  33. MUM: Oh, the dirty marks are gone now.


  34. PETER (V.O.): Since my Dad passed away 11 years ago, she's been living alone.


  35. Pausing.


  36. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My late Dad used to take care of household chores, especially after his retirement.

  37. Peter takes a look of the kitchen.


  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's very dirty. A clean kitchen is the first step of having a completely clean home.


  39. Clearing the junk from counters, Peter cleans appliances one by one.


  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're just too busy to act domestic helpers for our Mum.


  41. Later, we hear Peter's brother remarking jokingly to their Mum: Your husband is summoning your elder son to clean the kitchen for you.


  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My late Dad's calling? Maybe my brother is right!


  43. INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 18:00


  44. Resting on a sofa and listening to oldies, Peter checks WhatsApp messages.


  45. PETER (V.O.): Oh, my brother has taken a shot of the clean kitchen and shares the image in our family's chat group.


  46. Pausing.


  47. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was over three hours of dish-washing work.


  48. Peter sees on screen many thumbs-up signs.


  49. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But organizing and cleaning isn't a project. It should be a practice.


  50. Peter sighs.


  51. Act 3


  52. EXT. TUEN MUN HIGHWAY - 20:00


  53. Peter is driving a red Nissan SX200.


  54. PETER (V.O.): Today, I got many thumbs-ups.


  55. Pausing.


  56. PETER (V.O.): Even if no one gives me any thumbs-up, I can feel that, overall, life's good.


  57. Reflecting.


  58. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Think positive and be my own hero - thumbs-up!
