EXT. BUTTERFLY BEACH - 14:45
Cloudy. PETER is swimming.
PETER (V.O.): My first time swimming here.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm very happy that I've come here today.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've experienced two uncommon encounters on my way here.
Peter looks up at the sky.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They've brightened my day.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. TUEN MUN HIGHWAY - 13:30 (Earlier)
Along the fast lane, Peter is driving a red coupe.
PETER (V.O.): I'm about to divert to a side road to Golden Beach.
Having cut to the slow lane, Peter follows a coach that is braking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, heavy traffic ahead? Unlikely.
The coach and Peter's coupe stop sequentially.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The side road leads to the beaches. I just wait.
Soon, Peter sees many cars queuing behind and on his right.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Those who want to jump the queue are at the risk of being bumped by fast cars from behind.
Peter sees a TRAFFIC POLICE in his motorcycle driving past.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Even if I don't wait anymore, those on the right are blocking my way.
Looking restless, Peter adjusts car radio channels.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): At least, I've done something.
Peter then sees the coach in front driving off to the fast lane.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me follow suit.
But Peter sees that a taxi from behind has already pulled out.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh...
Then, Peter sees the TAXI DRIVER gesturing to him to pull out as his taxi is blocking the traffic from behind.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a pleasant surprise! I'm truly grateful!
Pulling off quickly, Peter gets his right hand out of the window, raises it and waves his thanks enthusiastically.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I reach Tuen Mun, how to return to Golden Beach?
Driving swiftly.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is there a Butterfly Beach ahead? Can I swim there?
Focusing on road signs, Peter sees "Butterfly Beach" on the left.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, that's it!
EXT. ROADS IN TUEN MUN AREA - CONTINUOUS
We see no more sign of "Butterfly Beach".
PETER (V.O.): I need Google Maps to help.
Stopping at a traffic light, Peter grabs his smartphone and soon we hear voice directing. Within minutes, Peter drives into a car park.
EXT. CAR PARK, BUTTERFLY GARDEN/BUTTERFLY BEACH - CONTINUOUS
PETER (V.O.): Is this car park meant for the Garden or the Beach, or both?
As Peter is parking, a MAN walks past, speaking to Peter.
MAN: You park at my spot - the white light goods vehicle over there.
Peter looks perplexed.
MAN (Cont'd): I've just parked and paid, but I've to go elsewhere now.
PETER: Let me give you back the money...
The man doesn't respond.
END FLASHBACK
Act 3
EXT. BUTTERFLY BEACH - CONTINUOUS
PETER (V.O.): In the end, the man did accept a few coins from me. Kind gestures lift people.
Swimming.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Exercising, I'm helping myself. But a part of any person is to help others.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When we give and don't expect reciprocity and others accept cheerfully and gratefully, all are blessed!
