  1. FADE IN

  2. Act 1

  3. INT. STUDY - 10:00

  4. Opening a Finance App, PETER taps "Sell" and enters other particulars.

  5. PETER (V.O.): Would I be able to sell the stocks at such prices?

  6. Checking the Quora App, Peter sees an answer request: What is the difference between known unknowns and unknown knowns?

  7. Pausing.

  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Known knowns are facts. Known unknowns are facts one is aware of but doesn't understand them.

  9. Pausing.

  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unknown knowns are like "one doesn't know what one knows". And unknown unknowns are one's blind spots.

  11. Pausing.

  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's interesting that a Quoran would ask me about the knowledge matrix.

  13. Peter types his answer on the phone screen.

  14. Act 2

  15. INT. PUBLIC BATH - 16:15

  16. Grabbing his wet swimming gears, Peter goes inside a unit and checks phone messages.

  17. PETER (V.O.): My orders aren't executed. They've become known knowns.

  18. Pausing.

  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Will they be executed tomorrow? That's my known unknown.

  20. EXT. STREETS - 17:00

  21. Seeing a graffiti depicting a man breaking through something, Peter stops to take a picture.

  22. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The graffiti has been here for a long time. I like to use the image to encourage my Quora fans to make a difference.

  23. Then, Peter discovers another graffiti, depicting a baby elephant with a water-pipe trunk.

  24. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it's an unknown unknown to me. I don't think it's new. It's a known known to others.

  25. Peter captures a photo of it.

  26. INT. MALL - 17:30

  27. Seeing a closed shop, Peter checks a notice.

  28. PETER (V.O.): Oh, a staff has got Covid.

  29. Pausing.

  30. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've an adjourned part-heard case. Initially, a witness was subject to an isolation order, and later, counsel for the other side.

  31. Pausing.

  32. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Some of those dear and close to me have got Covid recently. I wish them speedy recoveries.

  33. Peter walks past other shops.

  34. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before the pandemic, here were travel agencies. I made some of my bookings here.

  35. Pausing.

  36. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I decided to visit UK last month, there're many known unknowns. I had prepared for the worst.

  37. Pausing.

  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having had no hiccups after all, my wife and I will travel again in Jan & March 2023.

  39. Pausing.

  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I've been thinking if I should resume my monthly overseas travelling hobby even if I've to travel alone.

  41. Recalling.

  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's the observation that Covid is less severe than influenza. Is that a known known?

  43. Peter checks Hong Kong, China's Covid-19 statistics today: Cases - 2,177,436, Deaths - 10,842.

  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although it's a known known that vaccinations are the best ways to protect oneself from Covid and influenza, I'm also aware of the discontinuity theory.

  45. Pausing.

  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It suggests that chronic exposure to immune stimuli can desensitize both adaptive and innate immune cells. And I've never taken any influenza jabs.

  47. Pausing.

  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel like "A Blind Man and An Elephant" now.

  49. Act 3

  50. INT. STUDIO - 20:00

  51. Peter is playing the piano.

  52. PETER (V.O.) : In the knowledge quadrant, there're (1) known knowns, (2) known unknowns, (3) unknown knowns and (4) unknown unknowns.

  53. Pausing.

  54. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unknown unknowns are high risk. But I'm ignorant of them and wouldn't worry about them.

  55. Reflecting.

  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What I'm concerned the most are unknown knowns. I don't know what I know could be because I've forgotten about them or I don't understand them.

  57. Playing.

  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I welcome known unknowns in songwriting. I'm aware of my urge, and when I get good songs, I don't know how they come about!

  59. THE END
