  2. Act 1


  3. INT. STUDIO - 08:30


  4. Standing in front of a full length mirror, PETER is dressed in a stylish, eye-catching outfit.


  5. PETER (V.O): I'm going to perform my "Ah-Ah" song live in a party this afternoon.

  6. Pausing.


  7. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): But I'm not sure if I can play the chords of the song correctly.


  8. Picking up a 12-string acoustic guitar, Peter strums a few chords and stops.


  9. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Wrong Intro! I'm so used to play C, Am, F and G7.


  10. Pausing.


  11. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): For this song, the Intro should be C, G7, Am and G7.


  12. Having strummed C, G7, Am and G7...Peter begins to sing: HKUST, HKUST...


  13. Act 2


  14. INT. LECTURE THEATRE, HKUST - 12:00

  15. Coming out, Peter is in thoughts.


  16. PETER (V.O.): My performance is scheduled around 15:30. Should I return home to practise my guitar playing?


  17. Pausing.


  18. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'd better check the venue environment first.


  19. INT. BASE, HKUST -12:30


  20. Arriving, Peter sees a STAFF opening the door for OTHERS and then checking his output.


  21. STAFF: Are you Peter?


  22. PETER: Yes! You're Tiffany, right? Having attended a talk here just then, I come to have a feel of the venue.


  23. TIFFANY: Yes, our colleagues are having a buffet lunch party...


  24. PETER: I believe it is okay for me to rehearse before them...


  25. Later, as Peter strums his 12-string guitar and sings his song on stage, we see smiles across many faces.


  26. PETER (Singing): ...HKUST, HKUST...Ah-ah-ah, Ah-ah-ah-ah!


  27. We see and hear some colleagues echoing Peter:.Ah-ah-ah, Ah-ah-ah-ah!


  28. PETER (V.O.): What a great rehearsal before an unexpected audience!


  29. MONTAGE OF WHAT FOLLOWS


  30. A. Peter observes the Office of Knowledge Transfer having a retreat.


  31. B. An ASST VICE-PRESIDENT does a structured presentation.


  32. C. Divisional HEADS share their team roles before the end of the retreat.


  33. D. Another group of GUESTS appear. A VICE-PRESIDENT makes appreciation remarks.


  34. E. Havnig shown on a big screen the MV of Peter's song, Peter plays his guitar and sings his song, captivating the audience.


  35. END MONTAGE


  36. PETER (V.O.): I've strummed two wrong chords. Who cares?


  37. A photo session follows, featuring Peter playing the guitar among guests.


  38. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I look like a performer. But what I want to showcase is creativity.


  39. After the Asst Vice-President's briefing, the guests begin to mingle among themselves.


  40. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): It's networking business again.


  41. We see GUESTS#1,#2, #3, #4 #5 engaging Peter and hear:...the mood of the party changed when you sang...


  42. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Was I disruptive in my special way?


  43. Later, when the party is nearly over, GUEST#6 notices Peter.


  44. GUEST#6: You're carrying a guitar?


  45. PETER: Yes, haven't you watched my performance with it?


  46. GUEST#6: No... I got to finish my work before coming here...


  47. PETER: I can do it again just for you!


  48. As Peter plays the guitar and sings his song with precision and confidence, Guest#6 listens intently, her eyes filled with amazement and admiration.


  49. GUEST#6: You wrote it?


  50. PETER (V.O): Who would write a song on knowledge transfer?


  51. Act 3


  52. INT. STUDIO - 20:00


  53. Peter prompts an AI bot in his smartphone to generate a drawing entitled "Unplanned Encore..."


  54. PETER (V.O.): By embracing the unexpected, I open myself up to new opportunities and experience.

  55. Smiling.


  56. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The unplanned encore forms a personal connection and makes the staff feel appreciated.


  57. Thinking.


  58. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I believe the real emotion and effort I put into my endeavours can resonate deeply with others than perfection.
