PETER (V.O.): It should be the last meeting of this working group.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While it's good that the strategy has largely been formulated, I'm still concerned about its execution.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's easy to get carried away with one's passion and be insensible to risks ahead.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I had to repeat my insight on crisis prevention that I shared in another meeting this morning.

FLASHBACK
INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - 10:30
Peter and COLLEAGUES are having a meeting.
PETER (V.O.): The materials only came in the small hours of the morning. I don't have the time and energy to read them beforehand.
Peter focuses on a PRESENTER's presentation.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Analyzing the particulars of any plan, I can identify its concept and structure for some intelligent exchanges.
Peter asks a question via the CHAIR.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): More importantly, as an experienced legal professional and administrator, I can identify the risk and suggest ways to manage it.
Peter intervenes again.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't bear others letting an incident to become an emergency and then a crisis.
Peter intervenes again.
INT. CHAMBERS - 13:30
Peter passes a cheque to a SECRETARY.
PETER (V.O.): I have been so busy with my voluntary work that I can't come back to settle my rent earlier.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've let my voluntary work take precedence over my professional work.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This week, I've voluntary work to do from Sunday to Thursday.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Volunteering liberates humanity in a positive way and makes a difference.
Leaving.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Later today, I still have another voluntary work engagement.
INT. STUDY - 17:15
Watching an image talking via Zoom, Peter looks very worried.
PETER (V.O.): In any planning, it's common that the promoter may inadvertently or deliberately ignore the reality of risk.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This is especially so when people are too optimistic on the execution of urgent projects.
Intervening.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Challenges from various fronts are ever-present. They must be rationally acknowledged and controlled.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Success is about smart risk management and not about wild risk taking.
Intervening.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've rung the warning bells.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm not alone. But many others are quiet.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Are we out of danger? I doubt it.

INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS
PETER (V.O.) : Aa a volunteer, I don't get paid. I like to think that isn't because I'm worthless, but because I'm priceless.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Contributing my insight and wisdom, I lighten the burden of others so that they don't need to learn the hard way.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sharing wisdom and uplifting all manifest humanity.
