Peter is reading a thick book.
PETER (V.O.): No preparation is ever enough.
INT. KITCHEN - 07:00
Holding a box of Hokkaido fresh milk, Peter pours some into a glass and consumes them all.
PETER (V.O.): This's my quick breakfast today.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The last time I had fresh milk in Hokkaido was in Feb 2020 when the pandemic has just started.
EXT. MTR CABIN - 07:30
Dressed like a man in black, Peter is glued to his smart phone screen.
PETER (V.O.): See what happens today.
Act 2
MONTAGE OF PETER'S KEY ACTIVIES TODAY
A. Secured interview room#1. Peter and his ASSISTANT are interviewing CLIENT#1.
B. Secured interview room#2. Peter and his Assistant are interviewing CLIENT#2.
C. Secured interview room#3. Peter and his Assistant are interviewing CLIENTS#3-5.
D. Court. When Clients#1-5 appear in the dock, Peter speaks for them before they're taken down to the cell.

INT. OFFICE - 11:30
PETER (V.O.): Having taken their instructions, I've done the best I can.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They're suspected of having committed very serious crimes.
INT. SUSHI SENJU - 12:30
Elegant decorations. Western background music. Peter is seated comfortably.
PETER (V.O.): Time to reward myself.
Peter checks the menu.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having watched many TV episodes of "The Good Doctor", I've become a bit risk averse in having raw fish.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me order a Unadon set then.
Taking Peter's order, a STAFF makes a remark.
STAFF: The Unadon set will take about 20-25 minutes to prepare.
PETER: Fine!
PETER (V.O.): It'd be superb if it's done over charcoal fire.
Peter then watches news on his smart phone screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, there're just 252 foreign tourists visiting Japan in June 2022 - processing visa applications take time.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When no visa was needed, I used to visit Japan regularly.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Eg from Nov 2019 to Feb 2020, I visited Japan every month.
As the Unadon set is put on the table, Peter takes pictures of it and tastes it.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Delicious! Similar to the one I had at Atami, Japan.
MONTAGE OF FAMILY ACTIVITIES IN ATAMI & CAUSEWAY BAY, HONG KONG
A. 1998. Atami restaurant. Peter's FAMILY and his Japanese FRIEND's FAMILY are having Unadon done over charcoal fire.
B. 1999. Jade cinema. Peter and WIFE and his Japanese Friend and WIFE take part in a Gala Premiere featuring "Inspector Gadget."

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In Japan, my Japanese friend Shu has interpreted for me and other celebrities from Hong Kong.
Eating the last grilled eel fillet.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The last time I happened to meet Shu again was in Geneva. We're participating in a WIPO event. And that was some years ago.
Finishing the last bit of steamed rice.
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 20:45
Peter puts a pile of files into a brief case.
PETER (V.O.): Today, I've done the best preparation for my court appearance tomorrow.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The will to prepare precedes the will to succeed. And the quality of the preparation determines the quality of the outcome.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When there's harmony among value, capacity and support, success is what happens!
